Virtual ToursVirtual tours are interfaces that allow website visitors to visually explore your facilities or environment. They are particularly useful when people can’t visit you physically, but you would really like them to see something about your facilities. We have three approaches to creating virtual tours and can combine them:
| A slideshow of photographs and illustrations can be displayed as an animated gif movie, or as a flash animation. It is comprised of a set of still images, which are presented in sequence, automatically. Slideshows can be made from pictures that you already own, or we can shoot them with our equipment. |
|
| A panorama consists of an image that is up to 360 degrees. Visitors can explore a space- zooming and scanning. Panoramic tours are generally shot with our equipment. We can shoot indoors or outdoors. The panoramas can be set up with interactive maps, showing locations and we can integrate other media. |
|
| Our videos use a high definition video camera on a rolling tripod. We can smoothly walk through a space, pan around an area, and zoom in or out. The video can be edited to contain music, or verbal descriptions of what is being seen. Visitors to your website can play, pause, stop and skip. We can bring our rolling tripod and camera to your location and do all of the filming for you. |
|
Keep in mind that a virtual tour can be a collection of these three.
- Slide shows are the least expensive option and can often be built from your pictures.
- Videos, including smooth walk-throughs, pans, and zooms. Our equipment allows us to shoot smooth video as we move through a space, but we can use your video - HD recommended. We post videos on YouTube and link to them from your website.
- Interactive
explorations that include up to 360-degree panoramas, interactive maps
or floor plans, videos, multimedia, text, or audio overlays. Unlike some
tours that allow visitors to get lost on the ceiling or floor, our
approach limits vertical exploration a little, just enough to keep
visitors from getting confused. Our special equipment was made by an engineer for our purposes.
